First, we wish all of you a happy new year! To ensure the safety of all participants during face-to-face lectures, the state of Bavaria has mandated a set of rules and regulations. As long as there is no local lockdown due to a hotspot in the region of Nuremberg, we will be able to offer face-to-face lectures. Our program managers will inform you whether or not upcoming lectures will be in presence or online. Please follow these rules when coming to a lecture:
- Students need to wear a FFP2 facemask in our buildings and rooms. If we can ensure a distance of at least 1.5 meters between each participant, students may take the mask off after sitting down in the lecture rooms.
- With regard to closed rooms, access to our premises may only be granted to visitors and students if they are vaccinated or have recovered from a Covid infection.
Apart from that, we can grant access to our premises:
- In case of exams students who are not vaccinated or have recovered from a Covid infection need to provide a negative test result (PCR test performed 48 hours or less ago).
- If students cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons, they need to provide a written medical certificate. Additionally, they need to indicate a negative test result (PCR test performed 48 hours or less ago).
Attention: In case of a regional hotspot lockdown due to a 7-day incidence of over 1.000 no face-to-face lectures can take place. The program managers will inform you about these changes and the lecturers will hold online presentations if possible in accordance with the subject guidelines. Exams are excluded from this and will take place with the previous ruleset.
